As every year, 2025 is shaping up to be another significant year for the Android market. Aiming to expand its market share, vivo plans to add the vivo X200 Ultra to the previously announced X200 and X200 Pro models in 2025. This device, the final and most advanced model of the globally acclaimed X200 series, has had its launch date leaked. Here are the details.
vivo X200 Ultra May Launch Sooner Than Expected
Last year’s X100 Ultra was unveiled in May. However, according to a post from analyst Digital Chat Station, the flagship device developed by vivo will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and is expected to be announced in March or April 2025.
Although the exact model hasn’t been fully confirmed, it is highly likely that the device powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite will be the vivo X200 Ultra. If these claims hold true, the launch event for the vivo X200 Ultra could happen as early as March or April 2025.
Initially stated to be exclusive to the Chinese market, the X200 Ultra may also expand globally, as the X100 Ultra was later released in India despite being exclusive at first. Meanwhile, vivo is reportedly working on other flagship devices, including the vivo X Fold 4 and X Fold 4 Pro, which are expected to launch in June or July 2025.
